The above young lady has a basal cell carcinoma BCC on the upper lip, adjacent to the nasal ala and ala crease. This is a difficult site as the BCC could easily travel onto the nostril, below the nostril underneath the nose, or onto the lip or cheek. Mohs micrographic surgery is ideal for this type of tumour
