This picture shows the immediate improvement after injection of restylane perlane into the nasolabial folds.  The deep grooves are instantly more shallow giving the face a more youthful appearance.   The procedure was well tolerated - perlane is available with lidocaine anaesthetic, although many people cope just fine with plain perlane.  The skin is slightly red after the injection, which settles in a few days.
